What are the main features of the service?
Our storage spaces are available in just 10 minutes after confirmation and ensure total autonomy thanks to a personal access system. Each branch is equipped with trolleys for easy handling, dry and clean spaces, flexible contracts (you only pay for the days you actually use), and the option to change your box according to your needs. Discounts are also available for multi-month contracts and renewals.
What is self-storage and why is it innovative?
Self-storage is your personal storage unit for furniture and personal items, designed to solve any space issue. It’s a private, secure area organized into individual storage units, ideal for temporary or long-term use. It’s a modern and cost-effective alternative to traditional warehouse rentals — already widespread abroad and now available in Italy with UNIT Depositi Self-Service.
How does access to the private warehouse work?
Each customer receives a personal access code (PIN) that allows independent entry, with access available up to 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. The same code activates the alarm connected exclusively to your box, ensuring maximum security. Access is always independent from the offices, and you can also request a free code change at any time.
How long can I rent a storage unit?
The duration is completely flexible: you can rent a storage unit for as little as one week, or choose a monthly or renewable plan. The longer you use the space, the greater the discount applied. In case of early termination, the amount corresponding to unused days will be refunded.
Is the self-storage service really secure?
Yes, UNIT facilities are protected by volumetric and perimeter alarm systems, with an individual alarm on every single door. All movements (opening, closing, alarm activation and deactivation) are recorded by our management system, while access areas are monitored by CCTV and connected to a 24-hour security service.
Can I change my storage unit if my needs change?
Of course! With UNIT Depositi Self-Service, you can switch to a larger or smaller unit at any time. This way, you always pay only for the space you truly need — with no constraints or waste.
